Piña Bourbon Rita
I created this zesty, sweet and refreshing cocktail during the Summer, but it can be enjoyed throughout the year.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Bulleit Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
- 2.5 oz fresh pineapple juice
- 1 tbs fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 lime wedge
- 2 pineapple wedges
- 1 tbs Tajin
Steps
- Add Tajin to a small saucer; make sure Tajin is spread out.
- Moisten a 9oz glass rim with your lime wedge and dip your rim in the Tajin, making sure the rim is coated with Tajin.
- In a shaker; add fresh pineapple juice, fresh lemon juice and one (1) pineapple wedge.
- Muddle ingredients.
- Fill the 9oz glass with ice and add Bourbon, then add the muddled ingredients.
- Give your cocktail a stir and add your remaining pineapple wedge to the rim of your glass as a garnish.
- Enjoy!
