Mostaciolli (Little Moustache)

Written by Jon Taylor
This booze-forward, semi-sweet gin cocktail was created during the 2020 quarantine as a way to burn through some of those apéritifs sitting on the shelf and turned into a delicious riff on the Garibaldi. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2 oz J. Rieger midwestern dry gin
  • 1/2 oz Cappelletti vino apertivo
  • 1/2 oz Pierre Ferrand dry curaçao
  • 1/2 oz Cocchi Americano
  • 2 dashes Angostura aromatic bitters

Steps

  1. Build cocktail in mixing glass
  2. Stir a minimum of 40 revolutions
  3. Serve in a coupe with a flamed orange peel
  4. Viva l'Italia!
