Pegu Club

Written by Mukund Shinde
The Pegu Club cocktail is a classic of the colonial era and incorporates wonderful ingredients. It is a variation of the Gin Sour recipe & the signature drink of Burma's Pegu Club. The club was named after the Pegu, a Burmese river & located just outside Rangoon and is well known to have been frequented by British Colonial Officers.

  • Dry Curaçao - 22.5 ml @bolsbartending
  • Fresh lime juice - 22.5 ml
  • Angostura bitters - a dash @angosturahouse
  • Regan Orange bitters - a dash

Steps

  1. Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a cocktail glass.
