Mai Tai Fighter

Written by Syd Thomas
A modern themed twist on a Mai Tai. Created in December 2017 when Star Wars: The Last Jedi came out. We have a movie theater across the street from the bar and this was very popular at the time.

Ingredients

  • Glass: Double rocks/Mai Tai glass
  • 1oz. Coruba dark rum
  • 1oz. Duquesne martinique rum
  • .5oz. orange curacao
  • .75 oz. Thai tea syrup
  • 1oz. lemon juice
  • Garnish: 2 end slices of lemon turned inward, speared with a stemless cherry in between.

Steps

  1. Fill glass with ice, build cocktail, pour in shaker tin, shake until frosty, pour back into glass and garnish.
