The Scarsbrook

Written by Richard Scarsbrook
This fusion combines my love of the classic Manhattan and Leprechaun cocktails, along with my deep respect for the socializing and imbibing traditions of Ireland and Italy. (NB: This drink is not named after me, but in honour of ancestors who were "purveyors of fine beverages" almost a century ago.)

Ingredients

  • 3 oz Irish Whiskey
  • 2 oz Vermouth Rosso
  • 6 oz Tonic
  • 2 Maraschino Cherries
  • 1 Mandarin Slice
  • Ice cubes

Steps

  1. In a cocktail glass, over ice, combine 3 oz Irish Whiskey, 2 oz Vermouth Rosso, and 6 oz Tonic.
  2. Stir.
  3. Garnish with 2 Maraschino Cherries and 1 Orange Slice.
  4. Enjoy.
